Legitimizing Wikipedia: how U.S. national newspapers frame and use the online encyclopedia in their converage (also just called Legitimizing Wikipedia) describes a study on Wikipedia references in news media. After the study of 1486 references the researchers "found that Wikipedia is framed predominantly neutral and positive" and inceasingly used as a news source.

The article seems also to have been presented at the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication Conference, 2008.
