It was dropped from Journal Citation Reports index in 2012,[3] as it was "found to have anomalous citation patterns".[4]

It is listed in the low category in the Finnish list of journals,[5] and in the low category of the Danish Authority List.[6]

The journal publishes reviews ("critical review papers").[7] These reviews "should include an extensive bibliography, preferably annotated".

Manuscripts should be limited to 15'000 words.[8]
