Journal of the Association for Information Science and Technology (or with the old name Journal of the American Society for Information Science and Technology, 1532-2882, 1532-2890) (JASIST) is the journal for the organization Association for Information Science and Technology (previously American Society for Information Science and Technology).

From January 2008 JASIST has been a green Open Access journal where authors are allowed to post preprint of the intra- and Internet.[1]

It had a Journal Citation Reports impact factor on 2.005 in 2012.[2] JASIST is ranked in class 2 (the highest class) in the Danish Authority List journals 2012/2013.[3] It is also in the highest class in the Finnish list.[4]

The journal is edited by Blaise Cronin.
