Information Retrieval is a scientific journal in the area of information retrieval.

The journal is level 2 in the Danish Authority List of journals. In is in the top level (3) in Julkaisufoorumi the Finnish list[1] The Journal Citation Reports impact factor was around 0.6 in 2012 and 0.625 in 2013.[2] and in the high category (2) in the Danish BFI journal list.
