Frontal eye field is a brain region involved in eye movement: Electrical stimulation may elicit saccades in macaque monkeys.[1] It may also be involved in visual search tasks without eye movement.[2]

Researchers also regard it as an area in the human brain perhaps near the precentral sulcus and/or "in the depth of the caudalmost part of the superior frontal sulcus".[3]
