CoCoMac is a Web-based database of the connetivity between brain regions in the macaque. It is available from

http://www.cocomac.org

It has been developed by Rolf Kötter and Klaas Enno Stephan among others. A newer version is available from:

http://cocomac.g-node.org

A new 2009 version of CoCoMac will contain the following extensions according to Rolf Kötter (announced on the 2nd International Congress on Neuroinformatics:

  • Public data entry through hierarchical arraged form
  • Semi-automated data entry support through contents tagging
  • More efficient vocabulary mapping
  • Graphical point-and-click tools for initiating connectivity search
  • Coordinate-based tools for mapping inference
