[edit] Generate names of all brain regions

The following Python program generates a list of all papers in the Brede Database in the MediaWiki format:

from lxml import etree
import re

tree = etree.parse(open('/home/fnielsen/matlab/brede/xml/wobibs.xml'))
names = [element.text for element in tree.xpath('/Bibs/Bib/title')]
names = [re.sub('\s+', ' ', name) for name in names]
print('# [[' + ']]\n# [['.join(names) + ']]\n')

The data is available in the Brede Toolbox or from:
