Analysis of fMRI data from tasks containing temporal dependencies: an evaluation of Slotnick (2005) discusses the paper by S. D. Slotnick titled Spatial working memory specific activity in the dorsal prefrontal cortex? disparate answers from fMRI beta-weight and timecourse analysis. That paper reanalyzed data from the paper Activity in human frontal cortex associated with spatial working memory and saccadic behavior which was deposited in the fMRI Data Center.

Bradley R. Postle is quite critical of the reanalysis writing "The conclusion ... can not be supported with the analyses that he describes".

Postle has previously in 2002 written another comment on the data sharing of his fMRI Data Center data set: On having one's data shared.
