Group 1 of 53 healthy with 26 males and 27 females were included in the study. The group had a mean age of 41.7 with a range from 19 to 70. The study on the human subjects was approved by the Local ethical committee at Centre Léon Bérard, Lyon, France. [1]

[edit] Results

The brain scans were analyzed with SPM99. The statistical threshold was set on P=0.001 uncorrected and P<0.05 corrected "determined from a joint probability of peak height and cluster size".

  1. The 6th coordinate in "female binding superior to male" is labeled "L anterior cingulate gyrus" but with Brodmann area 31 (that is usually said to be part of the posterior cingulate.
